On any given day it takes as many as 35 volunteers to keep the wheels rolling. That’s 175 volunteers a week! Compare that to our paid staff of five... and you get the picture. CMoW is always in need of volunteers - on either a regular or substitute basis.
There are a variety of duties to perform that insure our clients receive their meals efficiently and safely:

Driver: 11:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Drives own vehicle delivering meals to program participants following an assigned, mapped route.
Visitor: 11:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Rides with a Driver, taking meals into the homes of program participants.
(Driver/Visitor Teams are welcome - ideal for spouses, friends, and co-workers with a lunch hour to spare and share.)
Kitchen: 8:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.
Preps and serves various parts of the meals, i.e. sandwiches, salads & desserts. Dishwashers are also needed.
Volunteers usually work one day a week, but some sign on for more - or various duties. For those who would like to help but can‘t commit to a weekly schedule, seasonal & substitute positions are always available and just as valuable.
